Geoff has been involved in re-enactment since 1976, and has worked in most periods including Roman, Dark Age, Mediaeval, English Civil
War, and Victorian.
For the last Fifteen years he has been mainly involved with the Cavalry of the Regency & Napoleonic Wars,
and commanded the Fifteenth Hussars group in the UK from 1995-2007 (at which point he moved to Canada with Sara).
Geoff is a well known figure in the Napoleonic Association in the UK and in European re-enactment. Having also spent Fifteen years
in the British Regular Army he has a good understanding of the military mind-set, and this combined with an honours degree in history
equips him very well to support Sara's work by researching the lives and dress of Officers and Soldiers and their dependants.
Alongside his own extensive research a diploma in Saddlery and Leathercraft from Cordwainers College in London (UK) has allowed
Geoff to develop the skills to further support The Captain's Mistress by making equipment and accoutrements to equip Officers
and Soldiers of all arms. Past projects have included much of the horse furniture and Buff Leatherwork for the Fifteenth Hussars,
as well as belts and equipment for soldiers from the Roman to Victorian eras.
